1870s Amphora Earrings, Blue Enamel and Pinchbeck, $350

These are my favorite earrings in the shop right now.  The form is based on a classical amphora, but the urn is articulated at the neck so that it moves freely from the handle form.  The handles are also exaggerated into more of a wing shape and enameled in royal blue. It’s very striking. Yesterday, a customer pointed to them and said “let me see those superhero earrings.”
