Photographs of Old Things

Another batch of 19th century paste earrings just came in.  This paste is particularly nice, and unusual in its shape— they’re faceted more like an old mine cut.  They’re also a little bigger than the last batch.  The faceting and foiling of the stones is so nice and so well preserved, that they easily pass for diamonds.  The wires are 14K and added by our jeweler.  The paste and the silver settings date to around 1850.  There are 3 pairs available.   (sold out)
