1870-80s Marble Plaques of Classical Reliefs in Grape Vines (sold)
I found a pair of these beautifully carved 19th century marble plaques last week. They look like architectural details— probably for a mantel— but I suspect they were never mounted.  Each measures about 6.5 x 6 inches. They’d be perfect on a pair of double doors.  In fact if I had a pair of doors at home, I’d take these straight home with me.
