I’m pretty sick of taxidermy. There are so many amazing things about 19th century interiors and design, that it’s kind of a shame that stuffed critters have become the requisite feature of all Victorian-themed interiors. So lately I’ve been buying things like the tiger above. It’s the head of a stuffed toy tiger glued onto a piece of plywood. It’s ridiculous looking. But there’s something much more genuine about taxidermy that’s faux, no?
