One of the nicest Victorian mountings I’ve ever seen. I bought it last year without a stone, and had been waiting around for the right stone to put in it. Last week a neighborhood couple came in looking for a mount for a beautiful old family diamond, and this one did the trick. The mount originally would have held a 2.5+ carat diamond. Their stone was about 1.50ct so our jeweler lowered and rebuilt the prongs to accommodate the smaller diameter. Turned out beautifully.

Victorian Seed Pearl Bug & Fly Stud Earrings, 10/14K
Apparently I’ve succumb to the trend of making stud earrings out of old stickpins. I bought these three perfect little Victorian bug stickpins a couple weeks ago and couldn’t resist making studs out of them. The bugs themselves are 10K, and the posts and backs are 14K.
Priced each, clockwise from top:

1920s Art Deco Enamel & Carnelian Signet Ring (in the online shop)
1890-1900s Dragon’s Breath Ring, 14K Gold
(in the online shop)
I can’t think of ever seeing Dragon’s Breath in a men’s ring before. It’s also very unusual to find set in gold.
This would be quite nice on a lady too.
1930-40s Art Deco Geometric 14K Gold Necklace (sold)
I’m sorry this is so expensive. Just a whole lot of gold. Very very nice though, and super wearable.
